Pedal Norfolk - Day 2 (100 miles)

Another massive day in the saddle. As with yesterday there was about 5:45 hours of quite flat riding. I was fortunate enough to find a friendly group shortly after riding out, who I stayed with all day. It is amazing what a difference having people to talk to, work with, draft behind, and complain about your sore bits with. Suddenly 30 km of riding has slipped by, the kilometers just get chewed up.

The last hour or so of riding today definitely slipped into the not-living-the-dream zone. Everybody was shifting around in their saddles, and it was clear that we all had tired legs and sore saddle-zones. But working together meant that we got through it and shared a drink and a laugh afterwards. I also managed to inhale a recovery pizza. Winning.
