Rapha CC (Hipsters will inherit the Earth)

Never judge a book by its cover, a lesson that I have been schooled in continuously by life, not least in the athletic arena.

After meeting a guy who'd been to a few of Rapha's rides I gathered my courage and went down for some laps of Regents Park (my home away from home) this morning.

For those of you who haven't heard of Rapha before, check out their website. They sell some very trendy, very expensive, and apparently (from multiple people's reviews) very high quality gear. They also have a kickarse cafe, and when I went on a women's ride with them back last Summer in a very unfit state were very nice.

Suffice to say I haven't seen a bunch of trendier cyclists (a hard feat in lycra), but it's not all gear no idea, it was hard work staying with the group. More evidence that I need to ride more in a group, and that even though it'll be hard work it's time to get out with a cycling club.
