Country Running

I might have said that running is enjoyable, but that doesn't mean its easy...

Yesterday morning I headed to the beach at Brancaster (about a 5 minute drive) and did some barefoot sprints on the beach- phew, hard work. I was feeling quite chuffed with myself, as even at high tide there was still plenty of sand to run on. However, when I got back to the carpark there was quite a lot of water on the road out. Luckily to hire Golf made it through, but I was certainly nervous.

Then this morning I had a long two hour run, which I did as an out and back to the nearby Burnham Market. My legs were heavy, my pace wasn't the best and I didn't feel physically fantastic. But I just had to remember to look up, at the clear blue sky, the beautiful fields, and remember to look down at the hares and pheasants running out of my way.

Running. It does get easier. But really, that means you should just being going faster.
