Stage 4: Le Touquet to Lille

You crawl under the seat on the bus driving out of London, because you are so exhausted you must must sleep, and somehow (with some delirious 2am manoeuvring yourself out from under the seat and into a hotel bed) wake up in France.

The first 40km of today were spent looking around and thinking, of my goodness I'm in France, and this is the 4th day of the tour. How the hell did this happen??

I won't write too much, because sleeping hours are short! It was a fabulous day, with great company once again, and with just two category 4 climbs (reasonably manageable, especially after Yorkshire).

My legs have been fairly cooperative, with the help of some physio and massage. It's a matter of nursing the body through, and hoping it getting stronger and fitter as the days get harder and harder. The cobbles tomorrow should provide a full body massage.
